Now it gets retro

Gonna have to do it all in retrospect now. Just cos there was too much to do, no sleep ‘til Brooklin, the usual shenanigans.

Dunno the final highlight, because once again there were too many. Ezra hugging Bob Mould? Maybe. Todd Trainer omnipresent? Shellac’s amazing set? Brandon Cox hosting a jam late night Sunday? Crowd surfing in a small room with about 100 other folk Sat? Deerhoof doing a Ramones cover? Bob Mould in the closest thing you’d ever see to Husker Du (and some No Age songs that stood up)?

Anyways, I’m gonna post pics and stories by theme now. Who cares about dates. Not me.

All the way in

14 hours in the Air, Not enough sleep, but a few movies later and a good chat with the woman next to me about ATP and art in New York and I was in LAX.

Decided to get straight to NY, not stop in LA for 8 hours. Got a standby and got to JFK half an hour before Paula. Air train to J train to Williamsburg was all too easy, not sure why I thought it might be hard.

Alright. Time to get this bucket-o-bolts blog off the ground. Took me a while to get used to the crazy and mini Eee PC that I bought along for the ride. And there is the odd distraction around here strangely enough.
